Our Centre, along with Oakham Primary, Uplands Manor Primary, Smethwick Old Church and St Albans Community Centre provided some festive cheer for those in need over the Christmas period.

Pupils from Oakham Primary School created 50 Christmas Cards along with 50 hand made baubles with a message, and 50 bookmarks which went out to isolated and vulnerable Centre users. Staff from the Centre went out and delivered the cards which were very well received. Our Chief Executive, Rob, fed back to the pupils via Zoom, about how their cards and gifts had put smiles on faces!

We were also able to deliver some food hampers, thanks to Smethwick Old Church and members of the local community who had collected money usually spent at pubs and restaurants and instead bought much needed supplies for people in need. These were delivered to families in need, identified by Uplands Manor Primary School.

Finally, we were also in receipt of childrens gifts from The Active Wellbeing Society in Birmingham and along with St Albans Community Centre, we delivered these to families in need on 23rd December as part of our Community Offer.
