In December 2022 the Dorothy Parkes Centre signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

Our pledge is to uphold the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the contribution that Service personnel, both regular and reservist, veterans and military families make to our organisation, our community and to the country.

As a result of this, we have received the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). Our pledge is to support the armed forces, including existing or prospective employees who are members of the community. We promote being armed forces-friendly and are open to employing reservists, armed forces veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors and military spouses/partners.
