Nature Buddies Bookings 2023 - Allotment

FREE, FAMILY-LED nature activities including crafts, growing, digging, mud kitchen, songs and stories - get your wellies on and come and get muddy!

 

PLEASE NOTE - WE NOW HAVE 2 SESSIONS OF NATURE BUDDIES AT THE ALLOTMENT :

10.30AM - 12PM & 12.30PM - 2.30PM

IF YOU ARE BOOKING ON TO BOTH SESSIONS, YOU ARE WELCOME TO BRING A SNACK/LUNCH TO EAT DURING THE BREAK

*** PLEASE NOTE:  THE BOOKING SYSTEM IS NOT MONITORED AT WEEKENDS.  ALL BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE BY 1PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE EACH SESSION AT THE LATEST ***

 

The sessions will run from 10.30am - 12pm (last admittance 10.45am) & 12.30pm - 2.30pm (last admittance 12.45pm)

 

Themes for December - Festive / Christmas.  There will only be 2 sessions in December - 2nd and 9th.

Please note, these themes are subject to change.

 

The community allotment is based at Bearwood Allotments, Dale Street, Bearwood, B66 4HX.  When parking on Dale Street, we would ask that you park on the railings side rather than the residents side of the street.

A member of the Nature Buddies team will greet you at the gate at 10.30am to take you down to the allotment plot.  If you are running late, please call/text 07593 190385 to let the facilitator know that you are at the gate and they will come and get you.  Last admittance is 10.45am.  

These are family sessions.  Parents are required to stay with their children during each session and encouraged to join in too.

Sessions will run whatever the weather so please make sure each family member is dressed in appropriate clothing.  Sessions will only be cancelled in the most exceptional of circumstances and we will endeavour to contact you to inform you if this is the case.
