Get involved Donate Coronavirus Impact Donate Fundraise We are a registered charity and we do not get any statutory funding. Our Centre relies on trading income through room hire via Community Groups and private functions. This also brings in revenue via our kitchen, donations and fundraising through raffles, fayres & sales. Our Centre is currently closed due to the Coronavirus and as a result, we stand to lose £1,648 per week in revenue. We are working hard behind the scenes to utilise financial support which is available but not all of this is guaranteed and as a result we are using our limited reserves. We are providing a telephone befriending service and we aim to continue to work on our allotment so that it is ready for service users and groups once the social distances regulations are relaxed. We need our community, now more than ever, to help us ensure that we are in a position to re-open when safe to do so and continue the legacy of Dorothy Parkes. If you would like to make a donation then please do so here. As of 25th June we have received over £900 in donations from the general public and were even featured on BBC Radio WM during their ‘Make a Difference’ segment: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p08h3bwn (at 8.15am) Thank you to everyone who has donated!!!
