We had some very special guests at our Natures Buddies session down at the allotment on 25^th November as part of Thanksgiving.

Two turkeys, Del & Theo, attended their first awareness raising event and they were very well behaved indeed (apart from eating some of the veg plants in the polytunnel).

The families in attendance enjoyed spending time with our guests and we hope to see them again soon.

 

Nature Buddies is a free provision for families and takes place on our Community Allotment Plot at Bearwood Allotments in Smethwick on a Saturday. This is part of our Rewire project, in partnership with Singlepoint Plus and Breathing Space Therapeutic Services. The sessions run from 10.30am – 12pm and 1pm – 2.30pm. There is now a break for winter with sessions resuming in March.
