Our Summer Fayre, in partnership with Old Church, Smethwick, was a great success, despite torrential rain!

The popular annual event, held in the Centre, included a variety of stalls such as Tombola, Plant Sale, Bottle Tombola, Raffle, Knitted Items/Bric-a-brac, Kids Tombola, Face Painter, 50/50 raffle and a Games Room. We also enjoyed lovely refreshments from the kitchen, a BBQ and crepes.

The event was well attended, with everybody appearing to have a good time and it raised a total of £1766.18. The net amount raised after costs was £1,127.06 which is split between the Church and the Centre (£563.53 each).

The Church and the Centre have agreed to use some of the funds raised to purchase a Community Bleed Control Kit which will be situated outside our Centre next to our Community Defibrillator.

We would like to thank everybody involved in making the event a success including all of the volunteers and the businesses who provided some excellent raffle prizes.

We now look forward to planning the Christmas Fayre which will take place on 25^th November 2023.
