We are excited to announce that we have achieved the Foundation Level award as part of our aim to achieve the Thrive at Work accreditation.

Thrive at Work is a workplace commitment with criteria and guidelines on creating a workplace that promotes employee health and wellbeing, focusing on key organisational enablers of health such as attendance management, policies and procedures in addition to health areas such as mental, musculoskeletal and physical health and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Thrive at Work Engagement Officer, Tracey Norman, stated

“My first conversation with Robert Bruce was a breeze. Not everyone I talk to understands Employee Wellbeing, but Rob did and he knew exactly what he wanted from Thrive at Work when he enquired. Watching them go through the Foundation Level they showed commitment, listened to every piece of advice and guidance from the Delivery Manager Laura Howard (She/Her), and followed through with it. Rob and Jodie are considerate, committed, and driven, so CONGRATULATIONS, I couldn't be happier for you.“

Dorothy Parkes Centre CEO, Rob Bruce said

''We are delighted to have achieved the Thrive at Work Foundation Level accreditation. The health and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and trustees is of paramount importance to us and Thrive at Work is helping us to meet our objective of becoming one of the top employers in our area. This process has made us really aware of how much more we can be doing to support all members of our team and we are committed to making further changes as part of the Bronze level and beyond. We would like to thank the team at Thrive at Work for being so supportive throughout this process.''

The next stage of the process is to achieve the Bronze Level which is much more thorough. Rob and Jodie are working through the action plan and hope to achieve this later into 2024.
