Together We Cook: Plot to Plate

Discover the journey from growing food to creating delicious meals.

This exciting course explores how fresh, seasonal produce can be transformed into healthy and affordable dishes. Participants will learn more about ingredients, cooking techniques, and the benefits of using locally grown food while developing practical skills in the kitchen. The programme reflects the Centre's commitment to helping people grow, cook and enjoy nutritious food together.

Take a trip down memory lane and rediscover some much-loved classic dishes.

Working alongside Food for Thought CIC, participants will learn practical kitchen skills while recreating traditional family favourites. The course is perfect for anyone looking to refresh their cooking knowledge, save money on home-cooked meals, and enjoy cooking in a friendly and supportive environment.

Eat Well, Live Well for Men

A free six-week cookery programme designed specifically for men who want to build confidence in the kitchen and learn healthy, affordable recipes.

Delivered in partnership with Fiona Allan Nutrition, this welcoming course helps participants develop practical cooking skills, improve their wellbeing, and discover new dishes from around the world.

Weekly from Wednesday 16 September
2pm to 4pm

  • Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with Pasta
  • Crispy Fish Tacos with Asian Slaw
  • Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas
