The Community Offer brings together local organisations in Sandwell to support the needs of the community to ensure that people live safe, independent and healthy lives.  If you are aged 18 years and over you can access FREE support in your town.

In Smethwick the project, which is funded by Sandwell Council, is delivered by St Albans Community Association in partnership with The Dorothy Parkes Centre .

Our Community Navigators will spend time with you to find out what your needs are and help you to –

• Get access to specialist and mainstream support services
• Provide you with personalised advice, information and guidance
• Help you manage your finances and maximise your income
• Access your local community and play an active role in it
• Connect to others and build your local network
• Build your confidence to help you manage your own needs

Both the support and the advice is varied and may consist of the following:, assistance with form filling, undergoing a benefit check, providing support in relation to debt / utilities, issuing of food vouchers, referral to social services, connecting you with health services or linking you with a community group.
